Run a dollop of smoothing serum through your hair and gather it into a low ponytail or bun. Fasten with an elastic band the same color as your hair, and leave one piece of hair out. Take the stray piece of hair, wrap it around the elastic, and fasten it underneath your ponytail with a bobby pin.
If drying time is an issue, try layers. This will make your hair less heavy, and it should take less time to dry.

Headbands can become a new mom’s best friend. They keep hair out of your eyes, plus add a little bit of style or flair. Style your hair as usual, and then slick back in a headband, or try pulling your hair into a high ponytail or bun and control any frizzes or loose strands with your headband.
If you haven’t had time to wash your hair and your roots are getting a little oily, try putting some loose facial powder or baby powder on your roots. It will absorb some of the oil and allow you to wear your hair as usual. Bonus: If you color your hair blonde, the facial powder can help lighten your roots between coloring sessions.
